// Meet Brian & Lance //

How about some goodies for the masculines? Meet my models, Brian & Lance.

Disclaimer: I don’t know why the pictures are low quality, I’ve been trying to fix them but… sighs. It’s a waste to throw these out especially that I’ve had fun while shooting them. Maybe a better content with them will be published soon.

Shout out to these two and my pretty cousin who took these shots! Thank you so much. xo

I look silly with my pajamas on but who cares, aight? I hope you guys still liked this blog post. It feels new to post something for men but I’ll get used to it eventually with of course, the love and support these two gives. ‘Til next time! xo

// Into The Blues //

Lately, I have noticed that I was unconsciously getting into blue shades. I’m not sure whether it was how it calmed my mind just by looking at it or maybe because I loved the way it complimented my skin color and how it lifted my aura. So I then decided to at least give out a fashion inspiration by experimenting with the color! It has been quite a while since I’ve posted a blog post and I wanted to apologize for that, I couldn’t make time recently because my schedule was a bit hectic and of course, priorities first.

How did I go?

I wore this plaid navy blue crop top that I got from SM Dept. Store int the Plus Size section and decided to partner it up with my dark denim blue, high-waist skinny jeans from Forever 21 and finished the look with some comfortable yet fashionable sneakers from Adidas. Of course, for more detail and edge, I decided to sling on my small, dark brown, leather canvas backpack which was handed down to me by a close friend.

I hope you guys liked this blog! Feel free to comment and share your thoughts about the look for it’s mean so much to me. Great news: I reached a thousand views! I wanted to thank each and single one of you out there who never got worn out of supporting me. Y’all mean so much to me, thank you and I love you! ‘Til next time! xo

// Monthly Make-Up Favorites: July //

Hello, everyone! Today i’m going to be showing you my monthly make-up favorites for this July!

First let’s start with the face cosmetics:

iWhite Korea’s Whitening Vita Aqua moisturizer, PhP 175.00

I have tried a lot of moisturizers even before I had this one. And I must say, this is one of the best moisturizers I have owned! The packaging of this product is a metallic blue ombre and carries 50ml of product. It is indicated that iWhite Whitening Vita Aqua Moisturizer is a unique water-based moisturizer that deeply hydrates skin with its natural and non-greasy formula. It leaves a cool, oil-free and refreshing feeling on the skin after application. This is one of the most promising moisturizers I have tried and I sure am loving it. It also contains natural active ingredients that help prevent premature aging, protects skin from cellular damage, hydrate and maintain firmness of skin. The fun fact about this product is that it is refined by Bio-Nanotechnology which gives ingredients increased potency in order to effectively take care of the skin. I have been using this for quite a while now and I’m in love with its non-greasy formula and of course, the cooling effect! The active ingredients that this product is composed of are: Mulberry Root Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, and Green Tea Leaf Extract. As for its smell, it smells really refreshing unlike other moisturizers with strong smells, this one falls into those with light ones! This product is available in Watsons and Mercury Drugs and I beli-eve iWhite Korea sells these in sachets for testing, too! Which I also believe costs around  pesos each! I highly recommend this product! 10/10.

Allue’s My First Hypoallergenic Pressed Powder with Sunscreen in the shade Honey Beige,         Php 100.00-120.00

The packaging of this product is a paper based, pull-up kind-of compact. The good thing about this product is that it comes with a mirror attached on the other half of the compact. This weighs 8.5g. The coverage of this pressed powder is light to medium. The shade Honey Beige is a shade lighter than my skintone but what I loved about this product is that it blends well and doesn’t cake that much than most pressed powder does. It doesn’t crease as for me, it’s really light on the skin and it sometimes feel like I have nothing on my face. This product may have said to have sun screen but it is clearly not advisable for long-wear under the sun even if it contains sunscreen. This product is available on HBC Outlets nationwide and I believe that this product has two shades. If you are not much of a fan of full coverage foundations or foundation in general, I suggest you try this! 8/10.

Max Factor’s Flawless Perfection Blush in the shade 225 Mulberry, Php 866.00

I have been using this blush for some time now and my love for it is endless. This shade is a combination of a pink and a coral tone which is a perfect shade for morena skin tones! The packaging of this product is the usual hard plastic case which is transparent in the front and a shade of blue in the back. This product weigh 5.5g. I don’t know if it’s just for this shade but this is one of those sheer kind of blushes. The fact that this one is shimmery, I love using this as a highlight and a blush in one! The color is buildable so you have to be quite careful when packing it on because it can turn out badly if applied harshly. This is great for everyday use. For those sheer blushers, you should definitely try this out for this does not give a flush you love but also a glow that is dazzling! 10/10.

Revlon’s ColorStay 16-Hour Quads in the shade 515 Adventurous, Php 550.00

This has got to be my favorite eyeshadow palette of all times! I have been using this sice forever and I can’t get this out of my make-up vanity. The packaging of this product is the usual hard plastic with black borders and transparent ones in the center and whole black in the back. This weigh 4.8g. The shades for this palette are more on neutral tones, there’s a shimmery white gold, shimmery olive, shimmery bronze and matte chocolate brown. This can be used to create day to midnight make-up looks which I really like. As for its pigments, it is really pigmented, there are tons of ways to use each shade that cmes up with this palette which I tend to fall in love with because of its complexity. Whenever I go out with my best friend, she never misses this on action inside my make-up kit. For those who’s heart is with neutral tones, I highly recommend this product!!! 11/10.

Urban Decay’s Naked 1 Palette, Php 5,000.00-6,500.00

This one’s a bit pricey but is worth the splurge! There are tons of beautiful shades variety and again, all falls in the neutral tones. These shades are complex, too. The lightest can be used as a highlight while the combination of browns can be used for contour. The packaging of this product is unique. It has this velvety-smooth feel and is the paper type unlike hard cases that Urban Decay often has for their palettes. Each shade weigh 1.3g so = 12 x 1.3g. I recommend this to people who loves splurging for quality make-up. 9/10.

Revlon’s PhotoReady 3D Volume Mascara, Php 750.00

Probably my favorite mascara after Maybelline’s! The packaging for this product is a matte black body and a silver hard plastic cap. This contains 0.34Fl.Oz of product. this makes my lashes look amazing even without curling it but the thing that I hate about this is that it smears, smudges and bleeds throughout the day and this because it isn’t a waterproof type of mascara. I hope Revlon releases the same product but with a waterproof formula ’cause I’ll definitely splurge for it! To those people who loves volumized eyelashes, i highly recommend this but make sure you watch out for time to time smudging! 9/10.

Etude House’ Styling Eye Liner, Php 128.00

As for this product’s packaging, it’s all black and one of those retractable kind of eyeliner, it hold 0.2g of product. This is great for tightlining for a more natural no makeup make-up look. I use this a lot whenever I have to go outside and at least try to make myself look quite presentable. This is really pigmented, one swatch and you’re ready! To those people who loves keeping it natural and not to wing-y, I recommend you this. This is grat for down wings and tightlines. 9/10.

Revlon’s ColorStay ultimate Liquid Lipstick in the shade 055 Grand Garnet,  Php 820.00

The packaging for this product is a thick, transparent hard plastic with a black, transparent coated cap. This liquid lipstick is not a finish of matte but a satin rather. This is a blue-red based red liquid lipstick with small glitters visible. This holds 3ml of product and has the sponge-tip applicator which I like. I recommend this to those people who likes liquid formulated lipsticks. 10/10.

Tony Moly’s Delight Tony Tint in the shade 02 Red, Php 198.00

The packaging of this product is a transparent hard plastic with a black heart shaped cap. This holds 9ml of product. This has got to be one of my make-up staples in life because personally, I have really pale lips so I always have my lip tint with me and this includes the collection! This is light, non-greasy, can be used for the cheeks and lips but the thing is, it can get quite patchy when packed thickly. This one is really pigmented so it’s quite hard to work with the color and should be blended in an instant because it stains utterly fast. To those lip tint lovers, I suggest you add this to your collection! 9/10.

VMV Hypoallergenic’s Lip Gloss in the shade Miami, Php 1,075.00

The packaging for this product is a transparent hard plastic body and a metallic black cap. I really am not sure of how much product this holds. This is probably one of the most amazing lip glosses I’ve tried. I never liked lip glosses in general but this one amazed me. It isn’t greasy nor heavy on the lips. I love how it looks when topped on a nice shade of lipstick for it blends in with the color nicely. Although I can’t say that I will be wearing this product on my lips alone because this is too light for my skin tone which makes me look so washed out which is why I prefer topping it on with some lipstick. For those lip gloss enthusiasts, this is a must-have, indeed! 10/10.

Maybelline’s Color Sensational Lasting Lipstick in the shade 645 Red Revival, Php 450.00-500.00

If you have been exploring this blog for some quite time, you might be fond of this product. I already made a review of this product and also a duel together with COVERGIRL’s lipstick. Link: https://allureinalldimensions.wordpress.com/2016/07/13/battle-of-the-red-lippies-covergirl-vs-maybelline/

That’s all for today, buddies! This took me hours to finish so I hope you guys appreciate this blog. I am near at reaching a thousand views so I am really thankful of that. I love you all so much and I hope you enjoyed today’s blog. ‘Til next time! xo

// Rainy Day Outfit Ideas //

Hello, buddies! Today, I’m going to share some outfit ideas you all could try out this coming rainy days. As I have mentioned before, I am into a minimalist wardrobe which explains why most of my clothes are a combination  of black and white. Include the grays, too!

In this outfit, I wore this gray spaghetti strap and topped it off with a varsity jacket in a combination of black and white with orange sleeves! Again, one of my crazy habits, putting on crazy colors. For my bottoms, I wore this black and white abstract-like leggings and paired it up with this space gray sneaker wedges. To finish up the look, I decided to sling on this black and gray shoulder bag.

Spaghetti Strap, (I forgot where I bought it). Varisty Jacket, Le Froge. Shoulder Bag, Louis Vuitton. Leggings, thrifted. Shoes, S&H.

Now in this look, I became a bit experimental with my pieces. I wore this over-sized, thick, gray sweater and for the bottom, I wore this black pencil skirt and finished it with this strappy black wedges. I wanted it to be more sophisticated looking s I decided to put on some accent which specifically is the red, leather tote bag.

Sweater, Delta Pro-Weight. Pencil skirt, thrifted. Strappy black wedges, Montego Bay Club. Leather tote bag, Jovanni.

And that is it for today! I hope you all enjoyed this mini look book. I am looking forward to making more look books in these coming days and I hope you all anticipate for it! Thank you so much! I love you all! Feel free to comment you thoughts and suggestion. ‘Til next time! xo

Special thanks to my beautiful cousin who gathered up all the patience she has to take good pictures of me for this blog post. Ily!

// Lazy Day Outfit Idea //

We’ve all been there and sometimes, it becomes a constant matter: lazy days. Maybe a lot of people thinks that fashion bloggers are people who can never detach themselves with make-up and fashion but really, we also have those days when we feel like not putting much effort on our make-up and clothes. As for me, whenever I have those days, I love putting on some jeans with the same tone as my top. As you can see on the picture, my top is in the shade of dark to navy blue whilst my jeans are in a cool tone that matches my top. As for the shoes, I always love wearing rubber shoes that doesn’t even match my whole outfit. And yes, you guessed it of course, pink! I don’t think this is a weird thing because most fashion bloggers love mixing and matching, too. Although I have been into a minimalist wardrobe lately, the inner weirdo inside me just tend to scream “color!”.

Over all I can say that the least you can do during lazy days are put on some top you rarely use or ones that’s your favorite, some jeans that matches it well and some rubber shoes that could either be matchy-matchy or does not even match at all! Just like my top says, “feel free”. Be you, be beautiful and no matter how much a day is lazy, you can still be pretty on your own little ways! Extra: don’t forget the red lipstick!

Top: Oxygen(?),  Jeans: SM Department Store (Plus Size), Shoes: Fila, Lipstick: Nichido Matte Lipstick in the shade Temptation.

// #AskManilyn [TAGLISH] //

Hello, buddies! I have been contemplating for hours on whether to blog about my Monthly Favorites or not but since I got extremely lazy, i decided to do a Q&A kind-of blog where you all can ask me about fashion, make-up, love, life, etc! I have posted in my SNS and I will be answering those questions you all have for me.

Paano nga ba mawala ang pimples? pimples are one of the most common problems with the face and if not treated immediately, it could lead to acne.

To remove pimples, try using a turmeric mask. I have read a lot of good things about turmeric masks. You can search on how to do a turmeric mask yourself in the internet. Try using salicylic acid, too! I knew for a fact that most dermatologists recommend this to people who has problems with pimples/acne. try out some products with retinol or retinol itself and a bit of benzoyl peroxide.

  1. Maghugas ng mukha. twice daily or as needed.
  2. Use toners that matches your face. Kapag oily ka, use those with alcohol, kapag dry naman, avoid using those with alcohol.
  4. ‘Wag hahayaang mapunta ang buhok sa mukha, lalo na kapag oily ito.
  5. Use blotting sheets to remove excess oil and dirt.

I suggest na buimli ka ng oil blotting sheets or better, try moisturizers or cosmetics that contains alcohol or witch hazel.

4. qna

  • Stick to toners, moisturizers and other face products that contains alcohol.
  • Use blotting sheets.
  • Don’t let your hair gets to your face especially kung oily ang hair mo.
  • Use egg masks.
  • Drink lots and lots of water. Stay hydrated.
  • Use moisturizers that helps hydrate skin.

5. qna

First off, I am not a professional with writing poems but all I can say is that the most important key to poem writing is the passion. Motivate yourself, be passionate, on’t be afraid to go to the danger zone which specifically means to step out your comfort zone, be comfortable with your own way of writing whether it can be literal or imaginative. Be creative with words to use, know how to strike your readers’ feelings. Express what your heart fully desires. Be you, be your own poetry; and that’s what makes it beautiful.

6. qna

To erase the redness sa gilid ng ilong or other red-colored blemishes, use color correctors. To achive a glowy look, use highlighters or dewy-finish foundations. As for the BB creams, I know two brands that create BB creams suited for oil skins, one is Mabelline and one is Estee Lauder. But for your concern which is redness, I must say that you need CC/Color Corrector more than BB creams. The best CC creams for oily skins are Clinique, Olay, LO’Real and Chanel.

7. qna

8. qna

To start out a conversation, kailangan alam mo kung ano bang gusto mong pagusapan. Kundi, maaring maweirdohan o maging awkward ang atmosphere niyo. Relax lang! Don’t be too hard on yourself, if you cannot gather enough confidence to make a conversation, try to make your opponent to start the conversation instead! But most likely, it would be better if it starts with you, if you really want to talk to a person, go! If he/she doesn’t want to talk to you after your aim, aba, bid your goodbye and forget about what happened no matter how embarrassing it was. Always remember that there’s no harm in trying, at the end of the day, at least you tried.

And that is all for today’s Q&A! Thank you to those people mentioned above for participating and baring with my laziness. i suppose I have to upload a look book for you guys tomorrow! I am near at 600 views and in less than a week, you guys have helped me to reach this dream! You are all superb. ❤ Thank you so much and I love you all! I hope you guys liked today’s blog. ‘Til next time! xo

// Battle of The Red Lippies: COVERGIRL VS Maybelline //

Aloha, buddies!

Today we all will know who is the reddest of the two! Are you all ready?

In today’s battle, we will be having two opponents. One is COVERGIRL’s and one is Maybelline’s.

On the left side is COVERGIRL’s Lip perfection Lipstick in the shade 307 Seduce. I believe it costs 450-500 pesos each. The availability of this product is rare because COVERGIRl has limited branches and outlets in the country.

On the right side we have Maybelline’s Color Sensational Lasting 645 Red Revival. I belive this one costs 250-300 pesos each which obviously is cheaper than the other. These lipsticks are available on Maybelline branches and outlets, including those in Watsons, etc. nationwide. Which again, beats the availability of COVERGIRL’s.

As for the packaging, the COVERGIRL lipstick has this hard plastic cap that is mettalic purple in color and the inside of it is a mauvey-rose colored plastic. The bottom of the tube has this usual color swatch glass and has its number and shade stamped on it. As for the tube itself, it is the same color as the cap: metallic purple. The whole tube is in a box shape but has curved edges. For Maybelline’s lipstick, it has the same hard plastic cap but is slightly transparent compared to COVERGIRL’s solid colored cap. It is tinted according to its shade and has this hard plastic, silver-colored body that makes it look like it’s metal. For the bottom, it has a sticker that is colored the same as its shade and has its number and shade printed to it. The whole tube is box in shape but is slightly bulky and has sharp edges. The body of COVERGIRL’s lipstick is thicker than Maybelline’s.

Here is a two-swipe swatch for everyone to see the pigmentation each lipstick has. It is clear that the Maybelline’s shade was slightly darker than the COVERGIRL’s.

A swatch and a lip transfer. The con about COVERGIRL’s lipstick is that it doesn’t transfer as much as the Maybelline’s. As for the smudging, both lipstick smudges badly without a lipliner so there’s a fat chance that it’ll bleed throughout the whole day of wear. Both has a creamy finish, a satin maybe. But one thing is for sure, both are not matte in finish. Both lipsticks are moisturizing on the lips but I felt that the Maybelline’s formula was lighter than COVERGIRL’s. COVERGIRL’s formula was a bit greasy in my opinion. The fastest to set was the COVERGIRL’s.

Now unto the main question… “who is the reddest of the two?”

/adds in drum rolls/

The left one is the COVERGIRL’s and the right one is Maybelline’s. This was quite surprising because I never thought that Maybelline’s would be a more red of color than the other. It is clearly seen that the COVERGIRL’s has this pink touch to it while the Maybelline has this blue red shade. Over all, the shade 307 Seduce of COVERGIRl has a rosey pink undertone while the 645 Red Revival of Maybelline’s has a solid and rich red color with blue undertone. Both are great for morena beauties!

Hello everyone! I just want to say thank you to those people who aren’t tired of supporting me endlessly in this road of blogging. // Review on Careline’s Pocket Eyeshadow Palette //

cpp.jpgHello, buddies! Today I’ll be writing a review on Careline’s Pocket Eyeshadow Palettes!

Of course we all look at the price first unless we are desperate for a product and are willing to splurge. The price of this palette was utterly amusing for it is cheap! I have bought this at Puregold’s cosmetics area at the price of 85 pesos. Can you believe that? Each palette costs 85 PESOS ONLY. Yes, you heard that right. I believe that there are three palettes in this edition. I only bought two of them because the stocks for the left one was all broken. I never liked how Puregold stores their displayed cosmetics. I’m sorry to say but it is somehow disgusting.

I bought the shades Festival and Midnight Magic. The packaging of these palettes are really cute. It has this blue black faux leather with random engraved snake-like pattern. It also came up with this instruction slipped right on its flap. It showed what look and how you could play on with the colors on this palette. Over all, it doesn’t look like an 85 pesos worth palette. I really like the packaging. I think packaging are one of the factors that attracts me to buy a product. 10/10 for the packaging.

Now unto the product itself. For 85 pesos, you get 15 shades of eyeshadows. None of these shades were matte, all were shimmery and are full of glitter. The packing on with the product was fine, the glitter was well packed and bright. Sadly, the pigmentation isn’t that strong. These eyeshadows are really glittery, they aren’t that pigmented so it is needed to really pack on a few times to get that color that it looks like whilst packed. These eyeshadows weren’t chalky at all! In fact they were a bit creamy. Some of the shades are great as an alternative for higlighters which is quite forgiving of its price. For 85 pesos, you get an eyeshadow and a highlighter. 8/10 for the product. 8 because first off, I’m not that a fan of glittery eyeshadows. Second, the pigmentation was quite disappointing but  for its price, it’s acceptable. Over all, it’s a nice product. I could actually suggest this product to those people who are starting out on how to put on eyeshadows. I highly recommend the shade Midnight Magic for the newbies for it has neutral sahdes on it. As for those who loves to wear crazy colored eyeshadows, I recommend the shade Festival. The name already speaks for itself. It has these not so crazy but really strong colors that aren’t that advisable for those who’s still starting to learn the art of putting on eyeshadow.

A closer look on the eyeshadows. The left ones is Festival while the right one is Midnight Magic. The Festival palette consists of pinks, purples and greens. The Midnight palette consists of soft purples, blues and blacks or neutrals.

These are the one swipe swatches I’ve done on a piece of paper. The left ones are from the palette “Festival” while the right ones are from the palette “Midnight Magic”.

Sorry if I lacked on this whole review of this product. i still have a ton of things to do for school so I was quite a bit running out of time to tackle complex reviews on it. But still, I hope you guys enjoyed reading this review! What do you say? Would you buy it or trash it? Comment down below and let me know about what you think of this product! I might do an eyeshadow look using these palettes this coming days. Hope you all anticipate, thank you for reading, ’til next time! xo

Aloha, buddies!

It has been a while since I had the satisfaction and the right motivation to write and blog again! It feels nice to be back and be fully renovated. Just a disclaimer, English isn’t my first language so if ever I get grammatically incorrect, please do correct me! I am still in a writer’s block crisis so I couldn’t easily express my thoughts in words and writings so I hope you guys bare with me for it feels like I’m newly born again when in fact I have been blogging for years.

A lot has happened with my life and I sure will schedule a blog about it around this week as long as I make sure my schedule is clear and free just exact for me to spend my time blogging non-stop.

This is it for today, everyone. I got to get back to studying for tomorrow’s quiz in Filipino. I hope you guys like my past blogs and hope you all anticipate for more! xo

Peace of advice to those people who stress out in life so much like I do:

Be with someone who can calm your tensed being,

Someone who knows you better than anyone else.

Someone who knows how to comfort you with silence.

Someone who you determine as your best friend.

sometimes, at least.
